Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions made via any website published by Aluminium Trade Centre Pty Ltd. We politely ask you to read them carefully – it is in your best interest to do so. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have.

These Terms may be amended at any time by Aluminium Trade Centre. They may also be extended to include other conditions applicable to specific goods or services offered by Aluminium Trade Centre from time to time. It is your responsibility to read these Terms before placing an order.

Making a purchase: making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

Credit/Debit Card Security: when an order is placed through our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption and all orders are taken through a secure SSL server. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

GST: all prices posted on the website are currently inclusive of GST at the current rate of 10%.

Payment: we accept payment through Visa and MasterCard. We also accept cheques or postal orders but please understand that if you wish to pay by this method, we cannot dispatch any items until payment has been cleared. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post. Please use our contact page.

Price and Stock: If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit/debit card or PayPal account to the value of the incorrect price (including delivery fees and any other charges made at time of ordering).
